Lennox Lewis vs Sam Peter

I think its a ridiculous question.

 

I think Peter likely outboxes him and takes a clear but competetive decision

 

is this prime Lewis or the Lewis of today which looks like a very tall, very large stevie wonder.

 

Peter has a very good chin and fast hands. Majority would favour Lennox but Peter might be able to take his best but will he be able to take Peters best? I think this would be like Lewis life and death struggle with Merciless Ray Mercer.

 

You mean like how he took McCline's best?

 

Ray Mercer was a very solid boxer, Samuel Peter simply is not. Wide, looping punches is what Peter is known for and look what Mccline could do.

Lennox is like Mccline on steroids....no wait, Lennox is still much better even though Mccline is on steroids :tong

Fighters today have much better nutrition than the fighters of the past. Peter by easy KO.

 

All lewis would have to do is look a peter and he would win the fight, peter isn't fit to beat half the people lewis fought never mind lewis himself.

McCline for a big man has very fast hands but he burns out quickly. Lewis has always been more patient even in his wild days. McCline's lack of outside game and his stamina cost him against Sam Peter.

That said I could easily see a UD for Lewis here. I think he'd use his longer reach to jab away at Sam and keep a safe distance throughout. If he saw the Waldo fight he already knows that he isn't knocking Sam out. He'll do what needs to be done to just avoid Sam's range and cruise to a UD.

Crap statement. Sam Peter would smash many of the guys Lewis walked over.
