Prime Lewis vs the Willard who beat Jack Johnson. Both 6'6 245 pounds. Who takes this battle of giants?

Lewis around round four or five. Many might say quicker. But Lewis took his time.

Lewis liked to blow out some of the bigger guys he faced.... Ruddock, Grant, Golota... I think he goes after Willard and meets little effective resistance. He finds the sweet spot and starts a brave Willard tumbling in the 2nd or 3rd.

-Grant was glass-chinned and Mccline beat him quicker than Lewis.
    -Golota wasn't 100% healthy.
-Ruddock is shorter than Lewis.(The 6'6" Willard is taller)
No problem, but we can use the Lewis vs. shot Tucker/ boring Akinwande/ unprepared Vitali Klitschko comparsions also.

Willard was raised on a farm and could lift tractors....he was raised on bottled milk not pasteurized.

Going with Willard the clear superior physical specimen.

Lewis tko round 6 if he fights aggressive. Willard would be one of the better super heavies he faced in his career.

    Agreed.

Willard is the kind of guy Lewis would take out mid fight.

Because Willard outlasted an aged, fat, disinterested Johnson?

Do you just, like, not respond to points but make silly accusations?

"After having seen Johnson, with his abundance of excessive flesh and his muscles weakened by age and other things, show such cleverness against the gigantic Willard and make Jess go 26 rounds to beat him, I've wondered what Johnson would have done if he had been in the same physical shape as when he won the title from Tommy Burns.

    -Alternate Referee Matt Hinkle

"Jack never did train like a man who was getting ready for a hard fight. He didn't do any road work. He just took a walk every day. His gymnasium stuff didn't amount to anything. He started out all right when he landed there but after the first week he wasn't so brisk. I think something happened."

    -Sam McVea, Johnson assistant.

Willard was pretty darn durable and Lennox didn't always just let it hang out. I think if Lewis stops him, he stops him late and Willard could even see the final bell.

Of course people are going to say "But Dempsey ... bla blah ... little guy ... Lewis hits harder ..."

Thing is, Dempsey was on a mission that day, he had a bet on an early KO and he was prepared to do or die. His performance was superb but he took risks to stop Willard that way. If Jess had timed him coming in and countered him there's a chance that Dempsey might have been looking at the wrong end of a loss. Willard, despite my questioning of his overall skill, was strong and tough.

I can't see Willard beating Lewis in a million years, but Lewis didn't always pull out all the stops. Could go the distance.

Not respond to points? Your entire "argument" if it can be called that yet lies solely on the presumption that I think Willard would get stopped in 6 and that he would be one of the better super heavies because he, in your words, "outlasted an aged, fat, disinterested Johnson".

Also if you didn't notice I responded "No.". So yes I did respond to whatever point you think you had.
