Article on the front page. What do you think? Not bad I think. I may actually take Holmes to beat Lewis in a close one, but not bad.

I agree pretty much with all of them. I agree with you on Holmes, I also think Ali beats him. I would favor Lewis over Frazier though.

Frazier/Lewis was one of the hardest ones for me to decide, and I had no problem with them choosing Frazier. I think Lewis is a very bad style matchup for Ali, especially the 70's Ali. I think the younger, quicker Ali stands a better chance.

Good point about Ali, he was much faster and dangerous, before he got banned from boxing. I guess you would have to take Lewis in this matchup.

A very well written article. I agree with most of his picks.

I'd take a prime Lewis over Frazier, Foreman, Ali, Holmes, Tyson, Holyfield, and Bowe. I am on the fence with Frazier, Foreman, Tyson, and Holmes though. Frazier could have done damage if he could get inside, stay close, and work the body, Foreman had the power to flatten Lewis, Holmes could have troubled him with his speed, movement, defense, and jab, and Tyson had the speed and footwork to get close and the power to knock him out. Still, I'd take a prime Lewis over them despite his obvious vulnerability. But no easy fights by any means.

I think he beats a 1970s Ali pretty clearly and I would pick Wladimir Klitschko to beat the 1970s Ali too.

Throw Klitschko into the mix, how does Lewis do against him?

I disagree with Lewis vs Bowe.

They present the article as a prime vs prime thing...then display Bowe lacking discipline "except for his fights vs Evander" (tho before Evander his discipline was just fine as well...it was afterwards where it slipped). This is the main difference that they elude to....but my question is this....

If we are talking a PRIME Bowe, then arent we speaking of the motivated one? Not the one that slipped after the Evander fights?

Holmes, Ali and Bowe are the ones I give the nod over Lewis to. As well as giving an outside shot to Foreman (more of a punchers chance...but a chance at that.)

I'd have to take a prime Lewis over Klitscho. Wlad wouldn't have much of a size advantage. Lewis would have the reach advantage. Lewis is much more fluid, has a better offensive arsenal, and had good power. Good matchup, but I would go with Lewis

Well, if I absolutely had to make a pick with Vitali, I'd go with Lewis via TKO due to cuts in the 6th.:good

As far as Wlad, I believe Wlad didn't have quit the power, though perhaps being a bit quicker, but Lewis was a smarter fighter in terms of knowing when to clinch, and at infighting. I also think he has the better chin than Wlad. I'll take Lewis by KO as well.

I don't think there is any way bowe beats lewis he was scared of him after lsoing in the olympics and lewis always had a mental edge over him from that point.

  13. He beats bowe , holyfield , holmes and mayb frazier , but no way tyson and ali

Lewis would KO Klitscho early on, IMO

I think he would beat all of them except Ali, and he could beat Tyson, but it's 50/50, on that one.
