Tyson was knocked the **** out by tall fighter with a decent jab who also had 1/10th the talent of Lewis. I can only imagine what would happen if Lewis hit Tyson with one of those uppercuts. Nevermind, I don't have to imagine

I see we're going to play this game. Well Holyfield knocked Douglas clean the **** out, and Lewis beat Holyfield.

You're right, a prime Tyson would probably just lose a decision to Lewis, he may not get knocked out.

I well past his prime Holyfield, 3 years removed from fighting Tyson the first time. Lewis' was a great champ, but the fact remains, he beat both of them well past there prime, especially Tyson.

Lewis never got a chance to fight Tyson near his prime. They could've fought in the early 90's, but then Tyson decided to start raping people. They could've fought again in the mid 90's, but Tyson reneged on his deal to fight Lewis. It's not Lewis' fault that people didn't want to man up and fight him. It all started with Bowe, and continued through to Tyson.

I'm not hating on Tyson, I'm just giving my opinion. Why is it so crazy to believe that a prime Lewis could beat a prime Tyson?

That article is clearly written by someone who overrates Lewis, as a lot of the fans on this site do. Lewis would get outboxed by Ali, knocked out early by Foreman, Tyson and Frazier (Jeez, if palookas like McCall and Rahman could do it....:patsch), outworked by a prime Holyfield (for goodness sake, the past-prime version Lewis did face arguably beat him in their second fight), and stopped late by Bowe!!!

It is absolutely amazing how ridiculously overrated this shaky-chinned fighter is. It is one of the most absurd mythologies going today in this sport.

i would have lewis winning every fight except for the ali fight,i loved watching lewis fight he really was an art.i dont think it matters if lewis got ko'd by mccall and rahman as these clearly werent him in his 'prime' his rematches were prime lewis.

ok just a question, does this mean that we must include lewis as a top2/3 heavyweight?
