I don’t have much doubt at all that Lewis would win this fight… but how would he win it is where I’m struggling a bit. It wouldn’t be a two round destruction like it was against Ruddock. Nor would it be a 12 round exhibition of jab dominance like it was against Tua. I can’t see him dismantling Fury round by round until finishing him off like he did against a shot Tyson either.

Hmm. I think Fury would attempt to do to Lewis what he did to old Wlad…constantly moving, trying to beat Lewis to the punch, moving, moving, moving, clinching, hitting, moving.
Except we are talking the best version of LL not an old and past it WK and I don’t think TF would find it all that easy to beat Lewis to the punch enough times to build up a significant lead.
Sure he’ll have some success during the fight with those tactics, but a fit and healthy prime Lewis will catch Fury more than he misses and will probably dominate the second half of the fight as his punches start to slow the big fella down.

At worst for Lewis… a 2 point victory for him. At best a late stoppage in his favour.

Lennox beats him over the distance. Maybe even kos him but imo more likely Lewis v Tucker, with Fury being dropped along the way.
    Lennox just too dang good.

I really don't see many top heavyweight s actually beating Lennox, no shame in losing to one of the best former champions in history.

Gotta go with the concensus opinion in this thread.Lennox Lewis has a nuclear right-hand,excellent
left jab,and most importantly has a really nasty streak against guys who wind him up.We're not talking
    about Wladimir here.
If Fury tries his garbage mind-games with Lewis he'd soon regret it.Unlike Wladimir you can't unsettle
    or intimidate Lennox.

Fury won't get in the ring with Usyk. You think he's going to go near a prime Lewis? Lol.

Ok, assuming we made it happen, Lewis is a class above. Doesn't hit quite as hard as Wilder, but has an order of magnitude more skill. Good luck, Gypsy King.

If Fury has Lewis enter the ring pissed off, forget about it. Very bad move against him.

I guarantee you Fury would make unreasonable demands just so this fight wouldn't come off, then blame Lewis when negotiations falls through.

For me it’s got to be Fury. The man’s undefeated and defeated the hardest puncher in the game with Wilder.

Lennox Lewis is the clear favorite IMO. The main originator of modern super heavyweights is Lennox Lewis. His 250 pounds is not the same as Wilder's 230 pounds (3-fight average against Fury). Lennox is stronger than Fury in the clinch, and is a great finisher. Fury has a great recovery, but he hasn't been tested against a fighter like Lennox. In the Lewis-Steward combination; Fury has no chance of winning on points. I see Lewis winning on UD points, not by knockout; possibly by technical knockout if there were too many knockdowns.
Uppercuts that Vitali and Grant received in the clinch, Fury would also receive (Lewis is stronger in the clinch). Lewis's job would not be decisive, but it would be useful. Lewis wins clearly UD.

Fury only has a 1 inch reach advantage and won't be able to just stick and move. Lennox would beat Fury in a dog fight. Think Lennox Lewis stops Fury late

I don't know that Lewis is stronger than Fury in a clinch. Although I would expect Lewis would spend plenty of time in camp working on clinching technique if he's going up against Fury.

Also, Lewis is armed with that big right uppercut to throw from a clinch. I assume part of his plan would be to make Fury eat enough of those that he stops trying to clinch.

Lewis for me wins this, although it’s certainly competitive. I think Fury bewilders him early on and races to an early lead. However I think Lewis changes up his game plan in the middle rounds and starts to find the mark. I think he begins hurting Fury, and eventually stops him in the later rounds, say between 10 and 12. He may not hit as hard as Wilder but he has way more ability and Fury has not fought anyone near his level.

With that being said, if they were in the same era I could see an enormous duck from Fury occurring. He would claim the A-side status and demand a stupid split, before walking out on negotiations. The guy may be a great fighter but he’s an absolute diva.

We all saw how Fury got flustered by a dumpster version of Wlad in their 12th round when he half-heartesly opened up the taps. Lewis would not be shy to let his big guns boom and I think he's technically miles betetr than Wilder who almost stopped Fury twice. Fury has shown me nothing to make me believe he should be favoured over Lewis. Could he beat Lewis? Yes. But I favour the proven guy.

Lewis destroys him. He is far more skilled and faster than Fury will ever be. Furys only hope of winning is taking advantage of Lewis's suspect chin for a KO shot, but that wouldn't happen as Lewis would never let him get close enough for one to land.
