Wow. Fury is becoming over rated here. Lewis takes him out. So does either Klitschko brother. Let’s see fury beat a skilled man in his prime that can’t hit first.
Out of curiosity, and I'm hoping someone can correct me but has Fury fought anyone that throws great and fast combinations.
If Fury fights like he did against Wilder II, Lennox knocks him out. But Fury would probably stick to boxing and lose a decision. The key here is the jab of Lennox which is sharper than Fury's.A good competitive matchup but I pick Lewis on points.
Im still leaning towards Lewis. He proved himself over a long period of time and came back from two bad kos. Maybe a few more years of Fury fighting will tell us more.
Lewis wins. Fury's beaten a 40 year old version of Wlad, and he's beaten Wilder who has never beaten anyone world class. Lewis is far beyond anyone Fury has beaten.
It's OK having a sharper jab which is debatable when Fury is switched on, it's getting past that longer reach that Fury has.
Sorry to have to correct you, but Lewis did get up (at the count of 6) against McCall and was prevented from continuing by the referee, Jose Garcia. It was seen as a controversial stoppage at the time and even an experienced referee and judge, in Stan Christodoulou, expressed their disagreement with Garcia's decision to do so.
The reach difference is one inch so it's not going to decide anything.Lewis could fight on the inside or outside ,he had a jab, a hook ,an uppercut mand a right cross. He carried real power,he beats Fury.
And Lewis, in his whole career, may not have beaten anyone at Fury's level though, to be honest. His wins over an old Holyfield and against Vitali are usually cited as his best.
Is it though, Wilder looked small on Saturday night against Fury and was picked off with the jab. Fury also has way superior footwork than Lewis and would be in and out.
