This has nothing, zero, to do with the thread and question at hand which is “Lennox Lewis VS Tyson Fury”.

Fury only recently trained with the Kronk gym, adding another skill set to his arsenal. Lennox Lewis trained under the Kronk Gym and Manny Steward for the better part of half his career. Lewis knows the system Fury used most recently better than Fury as he studied it under its creator.

Lennox Lewis was an Olympic gold medalist at the super heavyweight level giving him a much more extensive background than Fury has.

Credit to @George Crowcroft for below...

    Comparing resumes:

Past it Holy = Past it Wlad
Prime Vitali > Prime Wilder (easily)

    Tua > Chisora
    Mercer > Hammer
    Ruddock > Wallin
    Bruno > Johnson
    Golota > Schwartz

Lewis resume is levels beyond Fury's. Fury has beaten an old Wlad and Wilder... a guy who could not box or fight that feasted on bums while avoiding mandatories for 1000 days. Stellar.

These are all valid reasons why many people on this forum pick Lewis over Fury.

Kudos for use of the word “scant” however.

Daft thread, Lewis in another league. Fury hasn't dominated or defended a belt yet. Lewis dominated and had many many top wins on his record unlike Fury.

Fury's career is not over yet so it's unfair to compare them as Fury may achieve a lot more, or may not.

It wouldn’t get anywhere near the late rounds!
Lewis would have battered Fury within an inch of his life and KOd him inside 4 rounds.

Fury likes to propagate the myth that he and only he knows the fine art of boxing, well Lewis was better at just about everything! He’d cut the ring off and go to work on Fury probably dropping him in the 2nd and persecuting him with power shots before finally finishing him with a huge right cross.

Tell me anyone Fury’s fought who was remotely as good as Lewis.
Don’t throw losses to Rahman and McCall at me, Lewis would not enter a fight with Fury after a lazy camp and be unprepared.

Lewis by Brutal 4 Round shellacking ending with a heap of Fury in the centre of the ring

Nothing shows Lennox could batter a man of Fury's ability and stature in 4 rounds. Keep grasping.

Who did Lennox beat in 4 rounds that compared to Fury?

Nobody. Midgets and got sparked by midgets.

    Keep grasping.

Lewis breaks him down in the late rounds but it wouldn't be easy.

Henry Akinwande, Micheal Grant, Tyrell Biggs, Tony Tucker
They were all big things who thought they could box & move, all of them had more power than Fury yet they all got blown away by Lewis. Fury would be just another name on the list!

I like Fury, he’s perhaps my favourite Heavyweight of this era but he’s a long way behind Lewis

OK, maybe they were slightly better than Fury but let’s not quibble about semantics, I’ll give Fury the benefit of the doubt and rank him up alongside them for the purposes of this debate

Ive always thought Lennox would have easily beaten AJ and Wilder but to me Fury would have given him the most trouble. His size, ability to box, switch up, his awkwardness, and his in ring iq would have given Lennox a hard night at the office. I don’t know if he’d have beaten Lennox but it would not have been easy. The thing is Fury is still writing his own story so when his time is over I might have a more definitive assessment of this hypothetical match up.
