    1. Why would Vitali Klitschko be a replacement for this fight? Why would he accept the role as a replacement in 2 weeks notice? Why would Lennox Lewis figth Vitali on 2 weeks notice? Wouldn't this fight have been even more epic if it had much more time to promote?

    2. The announcers mentioned many times that Vitali wasn't given much of a shot. Why is this? How'd you feel pre-fight bout wat wud happen? What were the vegas odds?

    3. Round 2 was unbelievable. Easily best heavyweight round I've ever seen.

    4. The argument for lewis is that lewis was "coming on"...Lewis was dead tired; my bet woulda been on Klitschko stopping him.

    1) I cannot remember for the life of me who LL was supposed to fight instead. If you had a chance to fight for the heavyweight Championship of the World and you were ready, wouldn't you?

    2) The media was biased against Vitali. They remember him most as the guy who quit on his tool vs Chris Byrd.

    3) True

    4) LL was way out of shape and would've probably lost if it weren't for the cut. He totally underestimated Viatli.

I think Vitali accepted the fight on 2 weeks notice because that was the fight he had been chasing for so long. The plan was for Lewis to face Kirk Johnson on for Vitali to face someone on the undercard with Lewis and Vitali meeting next if they both won their fights. When Johnson pulled out Vitali took the fight.

Vitali was also hanging onto Lewis by the 6th round, that uppercut really hurt him. Both fighters were really fatigued by that point.

Kirk Johnson was supposed to fight Lewis, but got injured in training camp right before the fight.

Klitschko woop him plain and simple lewis got the luckiest stoppage of his career in that fight, and he knows it thats why he retired instead of having a rematch.

The 2nd round was stunning. Vitali should've closed the fight in this round...

Vitali should be grateful he got to share the same ring with an ATG like Lewis and accept his beating with class.

Slightly off topic, but a UK bookmaker is giving odds for a Lewis-Vitali rematch.

Lewis wouldn't take a vitali fight unless he felt he had over 50% chance of winning IMO. That's what would make this fight epic if it happened.
