    He did bomb Vitali though.

And it worked, Vitali looked like he'd been smothered by a woman on her period.

Yes he could, Lewis had a very good chin.

WALDO on the other hand, has an egg chin so saying WALDO could end it at any time is 100% wrong, especially when you add in how mentally weak he is.

:rofl @ some of the comments in this thread!

Lewis couldn't take Wlad's right hands - but Eddie Chambers could?

Is this the same Lewis that fought the most punchers of any heavyweight champ in history?

    Lewis was a slow starter?

    Watch Grant, Golota, Ruddock again.

    Wlad had a better jab.

Proven against...... people that don't move! Lewis was outjabbed twice in a career full of good jabbers!

He's not overrated with the big guys. He knows how to train heavy's bro. Compare Wlad's career pre-Steward vs now. BIG DIFFERENCE. Manny can will his fighter to the level they are suppose to perform at.

Listen to Lewis's interview during Legendary Nights: The Tale Tyson/Lewis. He hurt his right hand early on in that fight. Manny was on fire in the corner telling Lewis to use the damn right. Lewis didn't want to tell Manny for fear of what he would tell him next. Intimidated by a 5'9 man!!?? The point being, every fighter will tell you ... if you don't have a good corner your lost.

I think you're bitter because your country-man Cintron didn't benefit from the same result uh? So now Manny is overrated? Its about chemistry, and well ... they didn't have it.

    GREAT POST!! :thumbsup

I never understood why people always said that Lewis didn't have a chin. Yah sure he's been knocked down and out, but seriously guys ... when is the last time you ever saw Wlad in these types of fights?? When was the last time we EVER saw Wlad take these types of shots?? This affirms what I was saying, Lewis's fortitude is unquestionable ...

Clinching wouldn't work for Wlad either.

Lewis was a proper dirty ******* in the clinch.

And we saw Wlad get battered in clinches by Peter.

    I disagree.

Wlad has a very good jab. I think Lewis was better, but it's close so I'll leave that one alone.

Footwork. Lewis was miles ahead. Wlad's footwork is okay. It' good enough to get him into position and keep short guys away. Wlad does not use angles. Wlad can not punch on the move very well. Lewis' could do that and more. He could dance around. Lewis had a nice bounce in his step. He was adept at changing direction. He could punch while on the move, he could use angles to avoid and to set up varying attacks.

Wlad now would probably beat the Lewis that fought Vitali but prime for prime I'd favour Lewis everytime.

Wlad has improved alot since adding Steward to his team and has learnt to pace himself and improved his defense and his jab. But this more cautious and defensive style would not be enough to beat Lewis. Lennox unlike Wlads other opposition can almost match him for height and beat him for reach, it will take more than a sound defense and a good jab to keep Lennox off of him.

Wlad would fight to catious for this fight and get KO'ed IMO...Wlad is more techinally sound than Vitali but I dont think Wlad could sustain that type of punishment Vitali took from Lennox.

Lennox would be to much for him, he would get to Wlad and knock him out!
