well I have thought about this a lot

first of all, I have always leaned towards Lewis and still do,,

that said I would not be surprised if Wlad's clinching strength really bothered Lewis,, it drains your overall power and makes it harder to throw powerful punches,,,,

as well, Vlad is fairly equal to LL in speed, power and skill so its possible that Vlad keeps LL under control for a big portion of the night,,,,,

However, at some point I see Lewis catching Wlad and from that point I think we would see the true Wlad, what Wlad that is I don't have a clue, lol, however, if he had grown to the point to have the presence of mind to CLINCH up Lewis to recover then maybe this fight turns into a barn burner and then I would say its a coin flip,,,otherwise, I say Lewis by knock out at some point :good

Current Wlad vs Lewis that got battered by vladimir gets destroyed...

He gets that China chin checked and folds like a badly set up garden chair.

Have to favor lewis, but neither guy takes a big shot well, so it would really come down to who lands the first good shot.

I've always thought that as a pick'em fight. Both have the power to KO each other, similar size, similar skills. Maybe Lewis' inside game may prove to be the difference.

Lewis finishes him very fast. I know Wlad is better than Grant, but I think Lewis takes him out in similar fashion. Lewis simply does everything better than Wlad. Lewis can be a fast starter and Wlad is rarely a fast starter. Everything leads to quick KO win for Lennox.

Lewis is more versatile. Lewis can switch tactics. Lewis is a better ring general. Wlad only does the jab and grab, and if he tried that on Lewis, Lewis would murder him. Lewis would rough you up in close with monster uppercuts. I just don't see any way that Wlad can win. Naysayers will point out Lewis losses, but Wlad is terrified of throwing power punches until his opponent is exhausted, He's not going to have any success with Lewis by jabbing and clinching, especially since Lewis is better tat that too!

I agree with most of your points, not with better at clinching however, I think vladdy could be a bit stronger and better at it then LL, he is a strong dude.

Anyways, I don't know if this changes anything, just saying that this is one area I wouldn't be surprised if Wlado had a slight edge :think

Wlad has better hand speed and throws with perfect technique. I would have to favor him by KO because his straight right is so good and Lewis was one punch ko'd twice by same punch. Thrown by less capable fighters. Styles.

Remember what the late coach Manny said

"Wladimir is the best HW I have trained."

He should know. Not the Esb DKSAB crew.

    That doesn't mean proof positive.

Manny used a optimistic method of approach that would be counterproductive for him to say, "Vladdy is the second best I trained, Lewis could of taken him" ,,,,

with that said, I don't think its a for gone conclusion that Vladdy would loose, personally this is one of the most interesting match ups.

Vlad hits hard enough to win this, I simply would favour Lewis but I admit Vladdy wouldn't surprise me if he won. He is pretty solid.

Lewis is the greatest head to head heavyweight of all time.

He wins this by KO prior to the 6th.

Lewis is simply better in every single department. Not a competitive fight.
