    No, Lewis has used every excuse he can find, he retired rather than fight Vitali. Vitali was winning on the scorecards, if Lewis' promoter had not signaled Lewis' doctor to signal Lewis' ref to stop the fight on a cut Vitali would have knocked Lewis out in the very next round. Lewis was done for, plus Lewis' badly broken nose was a real problem. Lewis knows the truth.......................

    Lewis was losing the fight till that point and was fortunate a cut occurred, he would have obviously lost a rematch.

    Fact is he won though, and he landed big shots of his own and gave Vitali the toughest fight of his career even though he was clearly out of shape and nearing 40.
