Those are all good fighters, well maybe not Marvis, I don't know why you're laughing.

How is this really a question. A focused Lennox Lewis is an all time great without question. Not pound for pound but at heavyweight. Great size, terrific strength, athletic ability, jab, underated speed, exceptional power and a huge heart. His losses are unique. Both one punch KO's by huge heavyweights catching him flush in fights where he was clearly not focused. To his credit he comes back and dominates each man, victories that tell a hell of a lot about his mental strength and self-confidence. In many other fights he proved his chin; he was tested against Bruno, Briggs, Mercer and took it well ... he dominated the division and fought everyone ...

I think Woddy just likes to start trouble and read peoples reactions. Anyway I do believe at his peak that Lewis H2H is possibly the greatest heavyweight in history. Stylistically I believe only Ali and Holmes would defeat Lewis more times than not.

    Not important to me.
    Resume > Everything else.
It's about the quality of opposition. To consider Tyson higher based on killer instinct is not what it's about imo.

Is that a polite way of saying he's a wanker?

His best loses were against huge men? Rahman was a fat slob and McCall wasnt huge either. He was knocked out 2 times by average fighters. He was amost knocked out by a glancing blow from Shannon Briggs. He struggled against a washed up Holyfield in their second fight. Yeah Lewis is incredible right? Nobody could beat him......well unlessy you land one punch on his glass chin.

I think i give most of the people here wood. I feel so loved. To come a boxing forum and have mentally challenged people type to me like their words mean something.

Bollocks, he was hit on the back of the head while off balance which sent him reeling forward.

Bollocks? You must be British. Lewis ran the other way. Let's be real now.

Lennox was knocked off balance and stumbled forward. He didn't just decide to turn and run to avoid punishment, this shouldn't affect anything about him other than it shows he can take a shot from a super puncher and recover enough to knock him out.

If you can't see the punch behind the head you're ****ing blind/stupid.

But I think you're only doing this for a wind up anyway.:good

i have him in my top 10 all time heavies...near the bottom but i think he definitely deserves to be there. he is overrated, and he's overrated. bottom line is he completely wiped out all competition and dominated his era. he was incredibly flexibly and adaptable, fantastic puncher when he wanted to be and when he wanted to win was damn near unbeatable. possibly the best combination of skill and size in heavyweight history, hence his H2H status

Never been much of a Lewis fan. I have the same opinion on as does the late great boxing journalist and movie screen writer Bud Schulberg (R.I.P.) - Big, and very effective, mechanical at times. He hit hard, and was very smart...a gentlemen also, but I hate seeing him fight. But an ATG to rank with Ali, Louis, Langford, Marciano, Johnson, Dempsey, Foreman, Frazier, and Holmes?

I rank him as a good fighter like a Vitali Klitschko, but not quite like an Ali, Louis, or Holmes.
