Yo. Thought I'd drop you a line to give you an update on what has been going on. I have been in full training now for the last 2 months and have been travelling around to various gyms with Kelvyn, which culminated with 2 weeks in Toronto, Canada. I was invited by Lennox Lewis to work with him and his Olympic trainer at the Atlas Boxing Gym where Lennox came to the gym every day and gave me some valuable training tips and sessions which was great. Also Adrian, his Olympic Coach, helped me out and together I believe they have shown me some valuable lessons which will aid me in future bouts. I can't thank Lennox enough for taking the time to invite me up there and going out of his way to help me out. PURE CLASS!!! Also Adrian and his lovely wife and all at the Atlas Boxing Gym who welcomed me and Kelvyn with open arms. It was also nice to catch up with Troy Ross and Mark Simmons who were friends on the Canadian National team when I represented England. Troy is now doing well as a pro, while Mark decided not to turn professional. We went out and spent the time talking about old times and we all realised how much fun we had as amateurs. Seeing the world, representing our country, making friends and fighting only for the glory and the medal was sport in its truest sense. I was planning to fight in July and was disappointed to be informed that Danny Williams and his trainer Spencer Feron had no intention of fighting me again and refused an offer to meet in July. I was hoping Skelton and Sprott went ahead in May as that would have made Danny maybe re-consider. Nevertheless, I will keep ticking over and will definitely be fighting in September. Who, where and when will be locked down in August sometime. I'm still positive and focused and would love to bounce back against decent opposition straight away, but if I have to have a warm up, then so be it. To all my friends, family and of course fans, I can assure you that the dream lives on and I'm committed to fulfilling my boxing goals before I leave this game. I am not going anywhere. I am currently reading Nelson Mandela's book called 'Long Walk to Freedom'. His suffering and commitment to his beliefs despite the oppression and personal sacrifices he had to endure, has liberated and inspired me to keep believing and never to give up, no matter what. 'Let your courage rise with danger' he said. God is never asleep and I will rise once more for sure. Enjoy your summer, exercise a little, laugh a lot and keep positive. NO MATTER WHAT!!! One love, AForce
maybe lewis is helping him with his maths and grammar.........so he can go back to school and do something he is good at. and whatever it is, i´m absolutely sure he will be better at it then at boxing. i´m mean, how can he be worse it.......l??
Audley has a university degree you mada (faka that is). Williams has turned him down to win the British title, Sprott is busy with Skelton. The 2 fights Audley wants next is Dominick Guinn II and a showdown with Russian Olympic champion Alexander Povetkin. Personally I believe Audley would beat both Guinn and Sprott in a rematch, after all he had Sprott down in the 1st round, and almost floored the ‘never been down’ Guinn in the 12th and final round. As for Povetkin; I think Audley would beat him over 10/12 rounds. Audley Harrison UD 10 Alexander Povetkin
Sasha just paved Larry Donald, who, unlike Audley, has beaten a decent fighter in his career. And has a chin. I think Audley is a good guy, and I hate to see someone who had talent and a Gold Medal go down like that, but it's over. He'll always be Olympic Champion, nothing will change that, he should just leave it at that.
i wanna see that degree!! audley thinks he can still win a world title............so he can either be a really slow learner or just slightly mentally ******ed. i think its the latter. so that degree must have been bought or fake or something else. cause i doubt that the GAY- FORCE is even capable of washing himself properly. let alone survive a fight with povetkin
If Audley needs anything right now its positivity.. Lennox and his people bring exactly that...... Learn from lessons in life and you can progress.. Best of Luck to Audley, he has those tools, just needs to learn to be brave enough to committ again.. like he used to.. The second Williams fight was what he needed.. The Sprott result just road blocked Audley......... Don't underestimate anyone.........
plz stop talking in the third person Mr. Harrison...and don't make a mistake in taking on a contender like Povetkin in a comback fight. Step by step - a David Bostice would be ok...than move on to bigger challenges....
