When you put Ali in the ring, you give him the speed of the young Clay, but the ringsmarts and experience of the Ali that fought Foreman. I'm sorry, but no such person exists. The Ali that fought Foreman didn't have the same speed and mobility, that's why he fought that way.

The Clay that fought Liston couldn't have fought like he did later against Foreman. That was gained by years of experience.

You can't mesh together all the best parts of a fighter over a career, and say "there you go, he's unbeatable". It doesn't work like that.
