Lennox will not be back! He was past it when he fought Vitali & he knew as much. That's why he never granted the rematch! He retired at the right time, with his health & wealth in-tact! No need for him to make a comeback! He invested his money wisely - he will never be skint, he commentates on bouts so he's still involved in the sport in some capacity! This seems good enough for him! He does not need Boxing!
Right. He's not coming back to boxing, but he probably still has a need for attention and likes to get a reaction when he says things like this.
Lennox is well aware that every comment he makes comes with a response from hungry fanatics (like here). Basically whenever Lennox feels lonely, he can just say "I'm training with Manny Steward"
I think at this moment the fight itself would be ****, or average.... but at the same time, i think it would be huge. I mean, Vitali is probably the best marketable heavyweight atm (more exciting than his more accomplished brother), Lewis is still a big name and the average fan may not know how far in his 40's he is..... plus, their first fight was awesome! That said, i hope, and am pretty sure, Lewis will stay retired. The man has nothing more to prove.
