The WBC was forcing a rematch with Vitali. A fight that Vitali wanted, the fans wanted and would of been great for boxing. But Lewis was scared of Vitali and wanted no part of him again. So he **** on boxing and the boxing fans and quit...........So vitali ran Lewis out of boxing..... FACT!:good

That post was in response to the claim that Wlad has longer arms. He doesn't and this is fact.

I've brought up Wlad's low shoulders for his height as a physical advantage so not sure what you are on about. But again, he can't use his reach the same way a Lewis or Vitali can.

My argument was that Wlad does not have the same reach advantages of Lewis, Vitali, or most of the great large jabbers in history. Which he certainly does not. He has to use more foot work, timing, and hand speed to land his jab than a Vitali, Holmes, Liston, or Lewis, who because of their near 30 inch arms can score much easier from the outside without being touched.

I'm wondering how the WBC could force a rematch when the true champion won by stoppage lmao. It's no wonder why many fighters stopped caring about the titles.

A quote from the book was submitted:
"He [Lennox] told me that Vitali hurt him in that fight pretty bad and that he didn't want to have to face him again. I told him that if he wanted to continue fighting at all, that he would have to give Vitali a rematch. He chose to retire."

I think that steward knows more about it than u my liitle ****.
    Class dismissed!

Because there was demand from the fans.

If there wasn't demand the organizations wouldn't force it.

    Lennox is full of it:

Lennox wanted to have several fights (4) before the Vitali fight, then he wanted to have a rematch, and then he retires.

Dont you think its wrong for a boxing organization to force a rematch when the unified champion stopped the challenger in 6 :huh

Austin? Yes I know Wlads record very well. With such amazing power surely there are a few more early kos yes?

Yes Wlad did beat Brock and Chambers, but as you stated LATE. Lewis was never taken out or even in serious danger late in a fight.

Wlad hasn't lost in 8 years... This is relevant how? For the reason why - see boxrec.

Wlad has been down 11-12 times to men with less reach, skill and power as prime Lewis. Lewis was up in the McCall fight.

Lewis would land just like he did Vitali, you think Wlad can take those shots?

Lewis early ko is the obvious speculative outcome. To pick a guy who's had a couple of early kos in the last 10 years is a questionable pick to say the least.

    Get off it.

It was an entertaining fight while it lasted with a rare ending.

For the good of boxing, that rematch should have happened.

It would be one of the most anticipated rematches in boxing history.

Lewis should have retired after he beat Tyson.
He always claimed he would, and for months afterwards it was assumed that he had. Then he signed to fight Kirk Johnson !

Maybe steward needs to revise his history when he's no longer being paid by Wlad

I'd bet he remembers the fight going more like this
