We could go back and forth all day. Too bad we'll never know, unless Lewis thinks he can still do it and comes out of retirement. Nice debate :good Have a great day :deal
Ur an absolute tool mate. U want Lewis to come out and say:" I got outboxes for 5rd out of 6 by a green 11day stand in fighter in vitali. He bounced me around the ****ing ring before a grazing shot managed to open up a cut. I am lucky to get out without losing my belts. And u want me to rematch him? Hehehe. I am off to enjoy my $$$ which I made fighting has beens and blown up cw....":tired
Dude, the whole rematch situation is AS CLEAR AS DAY. I know that for 99% you ain't gonna admit that to yourself but seeing how Lewis got beaten up in this fight, how he was in denial in the post fight interview, how he promised a rematch, then retired + seeing a MASSIVE reason for Lennox to lie about it all later should be easy for a child. "Let's see if Lennox is going to use this win on cut as an opportunity to ride into the sunset with a safe legacy." Larry Merchant right after the doctor stopped the fight. I'll leave ya' all with this.
What about us Wlad haters, of which I am an outspoken member. I like Vitali and I think he has a fighter's mentality. I also think, while his resume is not as impressive as Wlad's, they've done a bit of really careful matchmaking, and pit the stronger-willed Vitali with the guys who would've put real pressure on the weaker-willed little brother.
BTW, I'm fully willing to accept that Lennox retired instead of fighting Vitali again, but I don't think he had to fight him again. His legacy was established. And regardless of whether or not Vitali retired Lewis, it doesn't change the truth about Lewis's statement that started this thread. He would've definitely KO'd Wlad.
Well. He should back up his words and offer to fight Wlad for real and not in his imaginary land. Otherwise he needs to SHUT UP for good. I have tremendous respect for LL but his mumbling mouth hurts his legacy.
holy **** the delusion...im a lennox fan and what your talking about is bollax..i mean ud rather hear it from the fighter himself whos pride will ALWAYS stop him from being COMPLETLY HONEST..but ofcourse youve got the guy who trained him who has no pride involved in it and is just repeating what actually happened..so basicly your saying manny is lieing...dont be a fool...lennox won he was happy i was happy all lennox fans wer happy but for the not so deluded ones we know lennox didnt want the rematch for one reason and one reason only..and i think we all know wat that reason is...
He really must not of thought that back in 2003, or 4, or 6 because hes just now starting to run his mouth about Wladimir........
There's a legit chance that Wlad could eventually overtake him, but Wlad would have to do a whole lot.
The weather isnt too bad to be fair although we did have some big showers a little earlier which caused our conservatory to leak... hey wait a minute your being sarcastic... well done:good
I think its highly unlikely that Wlad will overtake Lewis, the compitition isnt there for him to do so.
Hey ur a quick one ! Just like ur favourite boxer! "Hayes got some nice fast muscle on him" "wlad has a small cut to the left nose" those 6rds with vitali really showed.....
His dominance and longevity will be there. If he can accomplish: 1) Grabbing the WBC belt after Vitali retires. He would be the only HW Champ to have all the major belts (WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO and Ring). 2) Make 11 more defenses which would put him at 21 (26 including the WBO). If he does the above 2 things I would definetly put him in front of LL. He already has a signature win (David Haye).
