Where are you getting 230 from ?

When Lewis went with Steward which was his prime years he was always well above 240.

    He was 247 vs Grant.

    He was 250 vs Botha.

He was 246 vs Rahman 2.

He was 246 vs Holyfield 1.

He was 244 vs Golota 1.

And these are considered his best performances in his prime.

I think Lewis is a H2H monster but I agree, he's being overrated with all this "nobody today stands a chance" stuff. I have a gut feeling Usyk turns the trick. Especially being a southpaw, which Lewis never encountered in the AMs or pros. Fury may well beat him also.

I can't see AJ beating him (especially not today's version). I think I'd actually give (prime) Wilder the better chance of nailing Lewis with a right hand. Lewis's chin is seriously underrated but I highly doubt it's Wilder-proof.

Will have to hold out for Dubois. Still very young, but so far I like what I see.

i think 35 year old Mercer and 37 year old Holy who was beaten by John Ruiz would have a hard time with Usyk today..and I have a hard time imagining Usyk getting knocked out quickly by McCall. Maybe Lewis would be a favorite with anyone but it's hard to expect him to never stumble over someone like Andy Ruiz since he's done it at least twice. I think Lewis would wait for the right moment fighting those he wants to fight and avoiding those he doesn't have to.

Usyk and Fury would be the toughest but he'd be favoured over the lot. He's the best of the super heavyweights for mine.

Equally, it's difficult to imagine a prime Lewis being taken 12 rounds, winning 7 rounds to 5 on two of the judges scorecards (I thought it was a little wider than that), by a guy David Haye stopped in 5 rounds.

That said, I agree with your second point. Whilst I'd favour the best version of Lewis over any current fighter in a one off fight, and whilst if his 14 year career actually began in 2011, I think he'd come out on top as the best of the era, it's also likely that complacency would set in at some point and he'd lose a fight or two.

I’d make him a favorite to beat any of the current heavyweights but not overwhelmingly

Lewis beats them all. Usyk has the best chance. Rest are either not skilled enough, not durable enough or a combination of both.

The uppercut would have ended Usyk.

Fury would have been stopped, Lewis was a far better finisher and figher than Wilder ever was.

He would have stopped them all.

I can imagine that.. Look at the Mercer-Lewis fight. Usyk treated Dereck as a trainer. First, serious fight in HW.

Usyk could have taken a few uppercuts. I say this because it occurred to me relatively recently that Usyk actually might be in the conversation for GOAT heavyweight chin.

I rewatched his fights with AJ a few weeks ago and I remember seeing something that stunned me. Usyk:

    Walked into
    A straight right
    From Anthony Joshua
That he didn't see coming or roll with
    With his chin untucked
And he ate that **** like it was nothing.

I always knew Usyk had a great chin but that made me realize it might actually be GOAT level. Obviously Lennox hits harder than AJ but that tells me Usyk wouldn't be one hit KO'd by Lewis, or even dropped in a single shot most likely. I don't even think Usyk's been wobbled with a punch to the head in his entire career, let alone dropped. Bearing in mind he's fought Breidis, Gassiev, Chisora, AJ and Dubois.
