You wanna see the face of a guy who can't defend himself? This content is protected TKO6 - Fact! As I stated, if you thought Vitali was winning statistically then that's your opinion TKO6 - Fact!
You're an idiot, Vitali was defending himself fine with that cut and was beating up his opponent. The fight was stopped to prevent a possible serious injury, and had nothing to do with actually winning the fight. Cuts usually occur because of many punches, but are never set. A guy can receive way too many punches and not get any cuts at all compared to a guy who barely received any and is bleeding like a pig. The state of someone's face should not determine a fight unless one is an idiot, the actual punches and power of the shots should be measured. In this case Vitali won the fight.
Exactly. Haters are ruining this forum. They are grasping at the straws screaming TKO6 on every thread mentioning Vitali even though everybody knows that was a robbery and Vitali should have have won technical decision.
Fans who know their boxing will always know who won this fight. The only reason it won't die is because nuthuggers want to rewrite history.
How so, because Lewis ripped his face apart with Legal punches? Like it or not, durability has a lot to do with boxing. Lewis held up, Vitaly's face didn't. We can't just change the rules because some fans cannot accept their heroes loss. Fact is, Vitaly was holding on for dear life in the final round and the cut was more likely to get worse, not better. A rematch would have been nice, but it still wouldn't negate the fact Lewis did the work that stopped the fight and Vitaly had the same chance to stop Lennox but couldn't.
The mere thought of Lennox Lewis must really tear at the hearts of some Klit fans. It's sad really. Vitali will always be a very respected fighter. He has been a great champion. But the fact remains that he got in the ring with Lennox and got his face put through a meat grinder. Simple really. And as far as him beating up Lennox? Lennox was whippin that boy's ass the last two rounds. Especially the 6th. Anyone with a pair of eyes can see that Vitali was holding on for dear life in that round.
