Yep 5 years ago Lewis was just as hated as the Klitchko brothers....He was hated because he was not a Tyson...
Hell even Rocky Marchinio is hated...I'm sure Louis could be hated, if they ever heard of him...or any of the men he ever fought out side of the two Maxs.

Did I say Lennox was a thrilling fighter? No didn't... all I said is that I enjoyed his first fight versus Holyfield. Learn how to read instead of twisting people's opinions around, fruitcake.

well i cant speak to that, i was a tad young when lennox was first coming up and the internet was like...not invented or something.

but good lord if it was anything like the random hating that goes on now...

I use the word 'crude' in the sense that he was a relatively dirty fighter, who was prone to headbutting and and annoying fighters. I'm not using the word to suggest he is unskilled, given that I've clearly called him skilled in the same post.

:patsch you just made it blatantly obvious that you did not watch lewis-holy I/II

like i said, 1-2s and jabs aren't all there are to boxing. that doesn't qualify a boxer as being skilled. effective? yes. skilled? no

    Eh?

I like both fights with Holyfield.

The Briggs, Ruddock, Golota, Botha, Tyson, Bruno fights were all very exciting.

@Klithugger. The best way to defend your boy isn't by attacking the last true heavyweight champ there was. The man who held the title that could be traced back to Patterson.

Perhaps another reason why the Klits are so hated is because they have possibly the most delusional fanbase in history. Just a thought.

Lewis always had the balls to finish his opponents when they were vulnerable. He was not afraid to test his beard and open up and risk it a little when he felt his opponent was ready to go. Wlad just waits for the ring side doctors to do it for him. Thanks to Stewart Wlad has become a winning *****.

Lennox wasn´t exciting. He was a brilliant HW-champ, but a more chessplayer in the ring like Klitschko.

I remember vividly how Lennox was criticized when he lost to Rahman and fought snoozefests vs. Mavrovic or Tua.
