Lenny McClean V Kimbo Slice What would happen a streetfighter of yeasteryear against one of today. Would it even be competitive? Thanks for any comments
i dont know, i've heard lennys been sparked out cold before, i wonder if he can take kimobo's shots. also i dont think mclean was a big puncher, it took him like 20 consecutive shots to drop a blown up middleweight
I'd give McLean a good chance against Kimbo. I always wonder how the likes of McClean, Shaw, and especially Cliff Fields would have done. In my opinion the British contingent were ****ing animals compared to Kimbo - but of course that is just my opinion.

how is kimbo athletic? I'm not saying he isn't, but from the evidence of a coupla fights in the back yard, and his incipient Z-list MMA career, I dont see much evidence of "athleticism"...
If I had to bet, I'd go for Kimbo... but I can't shake how easily he gasses out. I don't know if I've ever seen someone who's actual conditioning contradicts their physique to that level...he's like an exaggerated Shannon Briggs in that regard. Kimbo should win, but if McClean can last more than a few minutes without getting sparked, he'd probably take it.
having just watched all of the above videos butterbean would have bombed 'em all out...if these guys were soo good why didnt they turn pro...didnt seem like mcclean had much power,he musta hit shaw 30 times flush and still he couldnt ko him...not much impressed with mcclean or kimbo for that matter...i know shaw had a boxing background,he was a pro MW in the 60s until an 18 year jail sentence curtailed his career somewhat...by the time of the 3rd mcclean fight he was about 100
kimbo would do him Mclean was unfit, it was unlicensed boxing.. basically fighting random blokes he got knocked out twice by johnny waldron whos a bum in Pro boxing kimbo beat ray mercer who was a top ten heavweight at one point
