leo lomski vs jeff harding (175lbs over 15 rounds) thought i would stick in two boxers not used much here
Lomski had a big right hand, which Tommy Loughran found out early. Harding was never a defensive master and would walk right into Lomski's best punches, much like when he fought Dennis Andries. I'm not too sure if Harding could take Lomski's best though. Loughran only survived because he had the defensive moves.
Loughran Lomski is an interesting fight in many ways. The power punching Lomski was winning the fight, and the light hitting technical Loughran was forced to go toe to toe with him and slug it out to win the day. This fight proves how great Loughran was. If winning ment geting into a bar fight with a guy with a machete armed only with a fruitknife then he was prepared for that.
It won't count on here though ,because Lomski was white. Lomski stops the game, but open Harding ,who traded on durability much like Steve Collins, Lomski had serious right hand power.
