Schaefer stopped that fight. Not LSC. Frampton stopped the aged career light flyweight Cazares on April 4th. LSC was still saying two weeks later that he would go to Belfast for the fight. By May, Schaefer was saying the fight was "not a priority" this year. LSC to the Daily Mail on May 6th: "If it was up to me I would have no problem fighting him next but hopefully we get the unification against Scott Quigg, get the win and then fight Frampton after that for sure."
WOW my bad I was calling cruz a nutless paper champion for not accepting rigos challenge. I hope its a good fight with a automatic rematch clause because lots of titles on the line here ring, wbc, wba wbo. I like unification instead of fighting the number 6 guy as a mandatory.
I love rigo, my fav fighterto watch atm but i also love LSC (though have not seen a huge ammount of him)im just excited to see 2 top guys going at it because it does not happen alot these days Extra credit to LSC for taking on such a risky fight, rigo has always been hungry but LSC with GBP could easily avoid an take the path of least resistance to superstardom Made me a bigger fan
You gents is looking at Santa Cruz with one eye, The young man can rumble and I for one am will concede the fight to Rigo. Cruz is aggressive but he has some subtle moves with his aggression. In other words, he knows how to do what he does. I think he can break Rigo.
i've been in the gym with both. i've watched santa cruz since he was a kid... rigondeaux is going to stop him.
