The last time I've seen someone holding two (super) championship belt in two weight-classes in the same time is Floyd Mayweather Jr. Surely, this is uncommon for other boxing organizations, but it seems WBA allows it. Personally, I am okay with that. As long as a champion can switching down and up weight class defending his title against legit opponents, I don't think it's a problem. During his double weight-class championship reign, FMJ has fought the likes of Cotto, Maidana (2x), Canelo and the last, Pacquiao.

But now, Leo Santa Cruz...who has he fought for being granted such priviledge ? He is now WBA top guy in both 126 and 130, while guys like Alvarado and Xu Can fighting all other rankers as mandatory.
