I give SC props for weathering the early Mares storm, staying composed, then taking control. But, I won't pretend that SC is a great fighter.

He's highly flawed, and a top fighter will exploit his weaknesses badly.

People never properly acknowledged his resume before this fight, so I doubt that will change.

For some reason, everybody hates LSC. Can't figure out why, either. He fights in a style that most tend to gravitate toward and actively support.

Because he blatantly ducked Rigo and fought really awful, cherry picked competition for a long time.

I acknowledge "could have gone either way" fights. I'm happy to do so when they apply... But this was not one of them. Sorry ya boy lost.

    Three fights. One non title.

    "A long time" is reaching.

I can care less that Mares lost a close fight but be more mature man, calling people a joke because their score doesnt fit your criteria is petty man... i can see 7-5 LEO but 9-3 is too wide imo... those were close rounds that a single punch could have decided alot those rounds..

Frampton, Quigg, and everybody else in the division also ducking Rigo for years. Every top fighter close to Rigo other than Nonito Donaire has blatantly ducked him. Why no equivalent hate for all them as well?

Even three fights against those caliber of opponents is not really acceptable, and personally, I've never rated his competition prior to that as highly as you guys do either. They were just okay.

Let's see what happens when he faces one of the champions in the division.

If you scored 6 or more rounds to Mares, that comes across as a joke scorecard to me. I don't need to apologize for that.

I was willing to give Frampton and Quigg a bit more time, I still viewed them as coming up guys honestly until recently.
