This was supposed to happen at 118, but Santa Cruz outgrew the weightclass. If Moreno was able to come back up to 122 comfortably, who'd you pick to win?

    Leo Santa Cruz 26-0

    vs

    Anselmo Moreno 34-2

I'm on the Mexican Cowboy's bandwagon and I'm not getting off.

    Santa Cruz by decision.

Santa Cruz is a better, tougher bigger punching version of Abner Mares

Santa Cruz would bully Moreno into a UD :deal

Don't think Moreno is big enough to deal with the volume.

    Moreno decision

Cruz shows hes not as good against a slick southpaw, Moreno should win

Moreno decision. LSC may be more of a natural pressure fighter than Mares but he's also generally cruder and wouldn't have the same handspeed advantage. Plus I thought Mares benefited from yet another generous ref against Moreno as it is.

Hard to call. I'm not sure it would happen because GBP may well see Moreno as the type of guy who can 'expose' LSC, but they did let him fight Mares :think

My pick would be LSC on a disputable points verdict- scoring points on activity more than anything else- and maybe a knockdown beign the difference on the cards.

Last I heard Moreno was in negotiations for a fight with Koki Kameda.

    :nono

    Rigondeaux is Top Rank
    Santa Cruz is Golden Boy

    Not gonna happen.

Koki ducked Moreno and gave up his belt.

Horrible style match up for Moreno. Santa Cruz would overwhelm him with activity like mares did.

    :-(

    Quacky Kameda. :deal

I wonder if Kameda did it to peruse a fight with Yamanaka though? That would be a huge event in Japan

great fight. i gotta go with Moreno UD.

though i feel LSC is better than Mares, he is not as relentless and he's shown to have problems with movement.
