He twisted his ankle falling when he got knocked down.

The replay from top-down view shows it clearly, very nasty angle it got bent at. :verysad

15 goddamn minutes since the KO now. Come on already, time is burning away. Verdejo and Silva were only two rounds in as of the KO; now they've completed six of ten.

Santa Cruz vs. Martinez could be underway by now if they weren't lollygagging so much!

Abner Mares (guest pundit at ringside) has fought on Showtime exclusively for six years now, a dozen straight fights since his last Solo Boxeo appearance versus Felipe Almanza.

Now that's loyalty. I can't think of any lengthier associations except maybe Pacquiao with HBO.

The funny thing is that for the five years before that, Mares was a staple of HBO PPV & World Championship Boxing undercards, pretty much whenever he wasn't headlining on Telefutura.

I know. Let me rephrase: lengthier still-running associations. I think Pac is probably the longest-tenured with a network at this point.

(without checking, maybe Orlando Cruz with Telemundo as runner-up?)

Going to have to give the rest of the Verdejo fight a miss Kiko always brings it and throws hard.

Better not be too late or this is going to clash with Crawford vs. Lundy seeing as Verdejo & Silva are nearly done..

WAR EARLY HEAD CLASH NC! :ibutt
