If it's the best version of leon then I think he puts up a good fight as usual, but Moore stops him in the 10th

The cross armed defense proves effective for Archie Moore of the 1955 title bout against Rocky Marciano. Remember Moore floored Rocky early in that bout. Leon Spinks of the Feb 1978 title winning bout against Muhammad Ali, fought a shell of Ali that was physically spent. Not taking anything away from Leon, he earned the victory but it was literally an assault committed against a vulnerable adult in a sense. Archie well conditioned would have blocked the aggressive hard blows thrown by Leon, then Moore would have countered Spinks with such regularity that he scores the fights only knockdown in round 8. Then Archie takes the fight to an exhausted Spinks, late in th round, a well timed right hand spills Leon to the canvas for the full ten count. Michael jumps into the ring and hollers, You Are Next Old Man. And now another thread must be posted by another poster.
