The scenario is: the Ali-beating Spinks is actually a cruiserweight, the division in this topic being invented in the late 70s. Spinks is the challenger, with the cruiserweight-era Holy showing up as champ. I think Spinks could have been pretty darn comfortable for awhile at cruiserweight, and would certainly have been boss of that division if it had existed in the 70s. Not sure, but I think Holyfield is considered to be best or right up there with in terms of cruiserweights.
I can see Leon really throwing himself at Holy , trying to take him out of a game plan . But it works against him and Holyfield literally hammer's Spinks . Holyfield wrsc 7 .
Holyfield by decision in a good fight. Leon was much more resilent and overall better in 1978 than when he actually finally moved down to Cruiser in 1982.
I think Leon might make Evander's job a whole lot easier. Holy loved people who come in. Then again, I do have respect for the Spinks jinx.
