The Leon that fought Ali was a smallish young heavy on the rise. He didnt have a lot of experience and Cummings would be a lot heavier and stronger. I think it’s a close fight that goes the distance maybe Cummings takes it. The post Ali Leon gets KOd.
Leon in 1980 had a pretty good run which was also about the time that Cummings was a prospect. That would have been a pretty good fight. I’d say it’s 50/50
The Leon that beat Bernardo Mercado would be all over Floyd from the start. Jumbo was big and strong and had a decent punch … but he was also slow and not much of a workrate guy. I think Jumbo gets gumbo’d and Leon pounds his way to an easy decision.
