He sailed on the Monterey from Sydney, Australia on September 20, 1940 and arrived in Los Angeles, California on October 7, 1940. Keep in mind that Zorrita's last listed bout in Australia was when he was knocked out by Ron Richards in the seventh round in Brisbane on August 16, 1940 and his next listed bout afterwards was when he won by a decision in a ten-round bout with Joey Peralta in Fresno, California on October 22, 1940. - Chuck Johnston
