That's only your opinion/guess tho. I scored the fight for Leonard by 2 points and have seen many other opinions i value greatly score it similar. One major and respected publication scored it resoundingly for Leonard. For me Leonard was the one that fought the fight on his own terms. Others score it narrowly for Hagler and i respect that, even if i can't see it.

Personally tho i've never understood the fuss, it's a lot bigger here on ESB than it was at the actual time of the fight.

I'm sorry over the way the decision came down myself. If only Leonard would have won it outright like my man Terry Norris.

By the way, Terry Norris >>> Ray leonard

Yeah sure, that is my opinion. Is that publication you mention KO Magazine? They scored it 118-111 I believe. KO was a crap mag and that scoring proves it and I imagine whoever came up with that score would probably be quite embarrassed today. As for your own score, if you give one of the rounds you gave to SRL to Hagler, then you have a draw. That's a close fight JT and the source of the fuss that you cannot understand. Personally, I find some of the rounds impossibly difficult to score: there were three rounds in particular that were potential drawn rounds. Very very close fight between two past it greats who should have fought 4 years earlier.

Depends on what type of topic. Champions not defending against someone/unifying or decisions?

I could also give one of those other rounds to SRL too, then it's not even close. Regardless a great event and one i am glad to have experienced. It would have been good earlier, but circumstance didn't allow it unfortunately. Better late than never tho. Marvin was still without doubt "the man" at 160. I must have watched it 20 times, always enjoy the match.
