Hell, Emmannuel Steward said it would be the toughest fight of his career...but like 6 rounds later, he's completely tearing into Floyd for not KO'ing the guy

Floyd didn't leave Top Rank til 2006/2007...the fight with Baldomir was his first time not working with TR. In that 1 year, Cotto all of a sudden wants to fight? It's ridiculous to claim he didn't "avoided" someone who never showed any interest at all until fighting him.

Williams lost to Quintana soon after Floyd beat Hatton. That fight could've happened in place of Hatton, but I wouldn't call it duck, because frankly, no one was fighting Paul Williams. All he had was a WBO strap. Unless, of course you accuse Cotto of ducking Williams too(which he didn't)

Margarito had just lost to Williams, and Cotto never even pursued the fight. Williams is the only one with a legit gripe, and he goes out and loses the next time he fights.

creating community centers and what-not for children and the needy

He wanted to get a fight with Pac. In 2009, there was no money issue. 50/50 was the split. But Pac refused the blood tests/urine tests. How is that May's fault?

IN 2012, May offered him 40 million (Way more than what that fraud deserved), and Pac still refused it.

Pac has refused Floyd every time. Fact.

Anyways, I like how you leave out his earlier achievements when you're talking about career defining fights.

154 DLH was also a GREAT WIN (FIghting at a weight he's never fought at before and DLH was still decently fresh) coming off a big win in Mayorga
Hatton was undefeated and many had him pulling off the upset so I don't know what you're bitching about. Hatton was also up there in the p4p rankings.
Mosley was a great win who came off a stunning knockout of Cheatarito.

Marquez got utterly STOMPED. Great win

Ortiz came off a HUGE win against Berto and some had him as a good underdog going into the fight and could pull the upset. Great win.

Baldomir was on a 21 win streak, 6 years and was the legitimate champion at 147 coming off big wins vs Judah, Gatti and Clottey.

It was a HUGE WIN

I said which of those fights I mentioned were career defining or great, not for his entire career. It's clear you didn't read the message thoroughly.

Cotto - very good win, best of the list I mentioned

DLH - good win, but come on, he was past his best. You mentioned Vargas losing to him, but that was in 2002 if I am correct. When did Floyd fight him? 5 years later?

JMM - jumped up 2 weight classes, no? And Floyd didn't even make the weight. Good win, yes, great or defining, nope.

Hatton - maybe its just my opinion of him but I never thought he was great. He feasted on bums till he fought Kostya. I didn't think he had a chance against Mayweather. Floyd beat him and was supposed to beat him in my eyes. Good win.

Mosley - good win, but 16 month layoff probably did him no good, but I can admit that Floyd can't control what Mosley does. Wish they fought years prior. It would have been a much better fight in general.

Ortiz - LOL, great win? No way.

I know Floyd is your BOI, but come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. These are all good wins, very good wins, w/e. None of them are great wins. The only one I'd say was maybe great is the Cotto fight.

DLH obviously took the fight because he thought he could win. And for a while he was. Until he was taken to school.

Hatton- Your opinion. He was coming off good wins and he was a top 10 p4p ranked fighter at that time. :dead

He was ranked higher than Cotto and Margarito at the time MAY FOUGHT him.

Marquez- Really, it was a 2 pound difference. Marquez called Mayweather out, Marquez wanted the higher weight.

Mayweather didn't even impose his weight on him that fight. It was a complete boxing lesson to it's fullest form.

Mosley- It was a great win no matter how you look at it. Mosley still looked so fresh but May was just too good. He had knocked out Margo the fight before and his confidence was at an all time high

Ortiz was a good win. Ortiz came off a huge win vs Berto and many thought Ortiz could pull the upset. He had the tools. It's not a career defining win but Ortiz is a good strong fighter who puts everyone on their asses in his previous fights.
