Was the slip in round 13 of the first fight a true slip or was it a legit knockdown?

The way you've worded the question is a bit leading....;O)

When Sugar Ray pounded Thomas through the ropes, and it was ruled a slip, was it an actual slip, or did the referee miss an obvious knockdown?

A grey area I suppose technically it was a knockdown, but it did not matter anyway...

Fight was over when the "slip" occured. I truly didnt care whether it was scored a KD or not. I turned to my brother and said "Ray's taking him out, its over, Tommy's done."

    There were 2 kd`s in the 13th, 1 got ruled a slip & 1 got ruled a kd.

In both cases i believe tommy tried to let himself fall for a rest before anymore damage was done, its just that the 1st time ray narrowly missed him & the 2nd time he caught him with the punch.

Leonard showed incredible balls & toughness, both mentally & physically in that fight, good fight.
