Hearns always ruined it for himself. Yes he scored two knockdowns but Leonard also had him in severe trouble in a couple of rounds. If we're scoring 10-8 rounds, then Leonard also deserved two 10-8 rounds. It was a fight Tommy could have put an exclamation on and left no doubt, but he didn't assert himself enough in close rounds and as usual was hanging on at times. Even Steward was screaming at him.

Unlike the first fight, I thought the rematch was closer and tougher to score. It's developed a reputation as a real "robbery", I do not see it that way.

What you're saying makes no sense of course it's a robbery if there's no mathematical way for Leonard to earn a draw it's a robbery end of unless you're just giving rounds to Leonard for the sake of it. Fights don't have to be wide decisions for it to be considered a robbery, pretty much anyone who has ever watched the fight has Hearns clearly winning by atleast 2 or 4 points i've never seen a single scorecard for Leonard so it's a clear robbery.

The OP is only one i've ever seen score it for Leonard and to be quite blunt his scorecard is atrocious and not to be taken seriously 9-3 for Leonard is a joke. As i said before in this thread i'm all for different opinon/takes on scoring fights, but there's no defending a 9-3 scorecard for Leonard either you have bad eye sight or are a fan boy of SRL because there's no logical explanation how you could come up with 9-3 score for Leonard.

Even Leonard himself admits he lost the fight that in itself should say it all.

I agree having Leonard winning 9 of 12 rounds is a joke. I never said I scored it 9-3 for SRL. I scored it 6-5 for Hearns with one round being even. I just don't think by me having Hearns winning by one point is a robbery. I'll watch the fight again today

The fight is competitive but its a clear win for Hearns you'd have to be reaching to give Leonard a draw let alone winning the fight.

When pretty much 98 percent of fans believe Hearns won the fight and you have Leonard himself admitting it then I think that's a clear robbery.

Like I said you don't have to dominate a fight for it to be considered a robbery Hearns still clearly won close but clear hence its a robbery in my book.

Last time I watched it, the 2 KDs were the difference on the cards for me. 114-112 for Tommy
