Another vote for Nunn ... Leonard beat Hagler mentally more than physically. I don't see Terry falling into the same mind traps, and would be more likely to exploit his physical advantages.
Nunn was ahead on pts before being stopped by Toney. This version of Toney was young , hungry and ruthless. SRL at this stage of his career didn't have these attributes. Nunn too sharp , strong and awkward for a comebacking SRL . Nunn on pts.
Leonard by the time he fought Hagler was on the down side of his career. His best fighting days were 4-5 yrs earlier about 15 lbs lighter. Nunn was a tall super fast NATURAL middleweight and a South paw. Ayube Kalule a southpaw troubled Leonard greatly at Jr. Middle when Leonard was at the top of his game.
