They can get Pacquiao if they don't make outrageous demands. There's no reason they can't get him. But I'd still be happy if Mayweather got in with Shane. 38/39 or not. It's a good fight. Solid WW fight between proven top notch welters.

Berto wouldn't be enough cash, though. It's either Shane or Manny...Maybe Berto down the line, though.

That's not a valid criticism in my opinion. The Fight everyone wants to see is Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. As such, that's the fight that Team Floyd needs to go after first. If that fight can't be worked out, a fight with Shane is a good backup plan. What everyone needs to realize is that these guys can't fight everyone at once. Whether he fights Shane or Pacquiao next, no one should really be complaining.

**** i hope he proves me wrong. Its just not consistant with his MO. What if Shane vs Berto has poor ratings (it might), will Floyd still fight Shane? I just don't see why all of a sudden Shane has become an option for Floyd when a month or 2 ago he wasn't. And I don't see how beating Berto changes anything. Maybe cause Floyd likes the WBC belt?

Al Haymon is probably trying to block that fight. He represents Floyd and Berto.

Maybe because he gets the lion share...Shane and Berto is on free TV, right? I doubt if ratings will matter. Shane is a name fighter so he and Floyd would do decent numbers...especially if Shane dominates Berto.

damn id love to see mayweather/mosely but we all know what the fans not the real hardcore fans i mean the fans the media fans the ones whom get all caught up in the hype created by the promoters and again the media, u know they all wanna see paquiao mayweather and to them probably would be a huge huge drop off to go with shane sadly but i believe true but i could be wrong

I doubt that...Berto would have his largest pay day, and to lose to Lfoyd would do nothing to his reputation...as Floyd says, people are supposed to lose to him.

its not consistent cuz you probably weren't there in 2006 when Floyd was callin for the Mosley fight....Why is it so hard to believe Floyd didn't go after that fight in 2006? If he did it than why wouldn't he go after it now if the Pac fight doesn't fall through???

IF FLOYD FOUGHT ANDRE (IF HE BEAT SHANE) A WIN OVER BERTO WOULD BE HUGE ACTUALLY-IT WOULD PROVE TO MANY FANS THAT FLOYD WILL FIGHT A GUY HIS SIZE (BERTO A LIL BIGGER I THINK)...IT WOULD ALSO SHOW FANS THAT THINK HE DUCK THE BEST THAT HE DONT..

BERTO WOULD BE A VERY DANGEROUS FIGHT FOR FLOYD IMO (IF HE GET PAST SHANE)....NOT A LOT OF MONEY IN COMPARISON TO OTHER OPPONENETS AND HIS SKILLS ARE VERY GOOD...I KNOW HE GOT A SHAKY CHIN BUT OTHER THAN THAT HE IS A SOLID TOP 5 WELTERWEIGHT!:bbb

RIGHT....THIS SAYS IT ALL....SO FLOYD N HIS TEAM DONT MENTION THE BEST FIGHTERS THAN HE IS "DUCKING" AND WHEN THEY DO MENTION THE BEST THAN HE IS BULLSHITTING...

LIKE I SAID ITS A LOSE LOSE NO MATTER WHAT FLOYD DO...:happy:happy
