Its too late for Floyd to fight Shane, he should of accepted the challenge back in September.

If negotiations with Pac falls apart it will most likely be Floyd's fault, unless TR refuses to budge on 60/40. Did PBF seriously believe he would have the leverage if Pac somehow beaten Cotto?

Ok, so then he should just scrap Plan A in order to take on Plan B? That makes sense to you? Pacquiao is the main target. Hopefully that gets worked out. If it can't, you have a plan B. If Plan B loses to Berto, you come up with a plan C. Oh yeah, Pacquiao still fought Morales even after he got outclassed by Raheem.

Maybe, maybe not. I would love to believe Floyd would fight Shane. But after all the bull**** excuses Floyd has said, hard to see this coming to fruition. But this was a trick DLH mastered. :deal

The question is: Will shane take FMJ's offer assuming he beats Berto and was also called out by Pacman? If Pacman calls out Shane after beating Berto then I would think he will likely take Pacman's offer rather than FMJ's.
Pacman has the WBO welterweight belt and is also the #1 PFP fighter today. Not to mention the bigger purse split against Pacman.

If Mayweather accepts the Mosley fight, all that does is delay the fight that the people really want to see. It would've been stupid for Floyd to agree to fight Mosley before the Cotto/Pac fight concluded. You keep talking about what happens if Berto beats Shane. Well if that happens, that just shows that Shane isn't the fighter we think he is at this stage of his career. If Shane can't get beat Berto, that proves that he would've had next to no shot against Floyd, thus saving the fans the time of having to watch Floyd trash Mosley and then have people get on his case for fighting an old man instead of Pac. Seriously, there are alot of things you can criticize Floyd for. Getting on him for ignoring Mosley and focusing on making one of the biggest fights in recent memory seems pretty ridiculous to me.

Mosley-Mayweather I think will still be a good fight if it gets made, people are always talking about shane's age, but if you watch the fight vs. Margo, he looks like he still has plenty of speed, and more power than ever before. He was launching some right hand missiles into Margarito, I dont even know how the guy made it 9 rounds after some of those bombs. Shane is no walk in the park.

Itll be floyds fault because he wont agree to the purse split and will ask for some unreasonable split, this fight should be close to 50-50 with pac man, both of those guys know that nobody in the sport can make them more money than the other one. Floyd's "what makes money, makes sense" mantra has come back to bite him in the ass, cause if hes serious about the money then Pacquiao is the only opponent who can boost his bank account.

He can make money off Shane, too...but back up...if Manny asks for 60/40 and a catch weight who is at fault if it is not made then??

We wouldn't be discussing this had Shane accepted the challenge in 2006.

If pac man wants the 60/40 then its his fault, both of these guys should know that with the current situation neither fighter are in a dominant position to ask for more than 50/50 give or take a few percents to satisfy an ego.

60/40 either way for this fight would be absolutely ridiculous and both these guys know it.
