In my opinion Mayweather is a true elite level fighter in terms of ability. However Leonard was better.

Anyhow, there is no need for us to get on the analysis bandwagon here, Leonard is simply too strong and that is that.

If SRL stopped him, Id guess rd 10-12.

Ive no doubt he beats Floyd tho, definitely.

IMO, Mayweather is criminally underrated as a fighter on the 'classic'. However, Leonard is simply to good for him over the piece. Too strong at the weight, hits too hard, and has offensive skills that surpass Mayweather's. Perhaps the awkward style and solid defense of Mayweather would see him last the distance. If I was Floyd, I'd certainly not be hanging around those ropes for lengthy spells. With the handpseed Leonard had up his sleeve, Mayweather's reflexes would be tested like never before. Once Floyd took a few flush left hooks from Leonard and felt the power, he'd be on his bicycle.

Ray Leonard abuses Mayweather on way to late round stoppage.

PBF underrated...he has not beaten a quality fighter in his opponents natural weight class in their prime. Although Oscar gave him a good fight Oscar was way past his prime. I dont see him beating Oscar at weltetweight in Oscar's prime. Floyd is fighting marquez because he called him out yet he refused to fight both Cotto and Margarito. In order for Floyd to shut me uphe would need to beat Paul Williams.

I believe Leonard could ko him in the later rounds.

Leonard better in every department and naturally larger and stronger and probably a tad faster to boot.

Floyd does very well in my book in a lot of fantasy fights, but not at 147. There's too many dragons in the history books for Floyd at 147. Same at 135.

130 down is safer territory for Floyd.

I agree but do you think that PBF could beat Sugat Shane at that weight? I think that Shane could beat him....

Floyd is not an all-time elite welterweight. This is an unfair matchup.

yeah, think mayweather's chin and defense allows him to see the final bell but losing a clear decision. mayweather is not a full-fledged welterweight.

I really don't see Floyd getting stopped. He's too smart for that.

But I do see him getting badly decisioned.

Either a clear UD or late stoppage in Leonard`s favour is what we`re dealing with here.

If anything here i think that Leonard is being underated in this WW fight, this is a classic match up of the 2 biggest ego's going & there's only room for 1 & leonard would be at his most malicious/spitefull & vicious best & he'd walk right through Mayweather IMO, **** mayweathers defence, it may look good over 10/12 rounds against a Hatton/Marquez in recent times but against a real WW & someone of Leonard's calibre then he's a sitting duck for a beatdown.

Leonard would impose himself from the 1st clang of the bell, Mayweather would have absolutley no answer to Leonards ballistic speed when it came to offence who'd chase him into the ropes & smother him. What are people here expecting floyd to do? Potshot/duck/roll 2 the left!!! does anyone really think that leonard would allow him time to breath never mind think!!! what can Mayweather do thats better than Leonard.....NOTHING:deal

I see Leonard being the bully here big time, Floyd ai'nt the offensive power or combo speed to halt Leonard in his tracks, Leonard climb's all over him as he's just to big/strong/fast/vicious & tacticly skillfull. Mayweather has no real offence capabilities such as Duran's & Leonard went 15 with him toe 2 toe.

He'll dominate from the off & can anyone on here tell me how Mayweather could get out of harms way if leonard unloaded that avalanche of punches that he unloaded onto Hearns in the 13th round of the 1st fight:bbb

This to me is a fight between the real deal & the pretender & i see him doing a number on Floyd even worse than Duran.

Leonards a nasty ******* & he'd really want to put Floyd in his place & humiliate him & such as Leonards nature is he ai'nt going to allow any pretender to usurp his title as boxings mr posterboy:bbb

He smashes Floyd up no later than 10:smoke
