Leonardo Zappavigna is a 5'6 27 year old Light Welterweight with a 37-4 27 KO's 3 KO loss. Born in Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia and fights out of Leppington, New South Wales, Australia. Lenny isn't going to set the world on fire by any means, he's far from being rthe most skilled fighter, but he is entertaining and would make for some decent matchups at LWW if given a chance. He'd be a good opponent for Lundy, Vargas and at this point Dulorme. Of his two losses one of them is against dull Mexican defensive master Miguel Vasquez, so nothing to be ashamed of, but his other was completely unexplainable, he was RTD'd by Ammeth Diaz in the 5th round he was taking a barrage of punches and his corner stopped it. Technically he should probably have an asterisk next a match on his record as well, his match against Angulo was a little closer than the scorecards suggest, some even consider it a robbery. But nonetheless, he's a good body puncher and is a fan friendly pressure fighter, so if fighters like Alvarado, Molina and Provodnikov can get shot after shot on HBO despite their losses then Lenny at the very least deserves a spot on a PBC card or FS1. So if you love blood and guts warriors like I do, take a look at Lenny Zappa he's worth a little of your time if you like all out action, also he has a rat tail, and a really cool name and that's always a positive.
