Dude was total trash. Actually both of them are. I don't see the PR going anywhere with that poor display.
I don't think so. I did not see much. Granted he landed a huge punch and KOd a guy with a bloated record. The skill level is just no there. I guess he can improve, but so can any fighter. All I am saying is based of that performance I can't see the guy going to far. Title challenger maybe. Title holder? Doubt it.
We only saw him put in four rounds of work. He spent the first cutting the ring off, headstrong but not reckless, against a touted KO puncher; the second getting tagged from long range but never in trouble; and from there he just bided his time and picked his spot. I don't think we got enough sample data one way or the other. He could yet pan out a tomato can or a fringe contender, time will tell - what we do know is that regardless of his ultimate skill level he's good enough (and sturdy enough of mind) to patiently and efficiently outgun a very confident built-up regional KO machine.
True. Despite the record Miranda fought like crap though. No Jab, wild swings, and did you see him literary running to his opponent on at least two occasions? That was just asking for trouble.
Orlando Cruz is not a star. But he did pretty good. For now he is keeping his "0" and moving on. Lets see how far he can go.
i watched the fight and Cruz is only 5'4. being that Miranda is 5'7/5'8 he fought a smart fight in trying to cut off the ring and using his jab to keep Miranda at a distance. Bloated record or not, Miranda is a Mexican power puncher...the win was a good one and should launch Cruzs' career in the right direction
