It was by far the best book i have ever had the prevlige to read. And wasnt the fact it was a sports book or that it was a boxing book. It had everything from love to sport to even politics and i was left thinking if someone like myself that normally takes 3 to 4 weeks to read a book it took me from yesterday at 9am to 4pm to read it cover to cover. What a find it was a book just sitting there with a story of our greatest fighter that i was having trouble learning anything about then one visit to my local library there it was. LES DARCY The Legend of the Fighting Man. (Peter Fenton) Now i know i havnt been on the boards for a while but i have been very very busy with nothing but constant night shift work then sleep then more work then more sleep. To the true Aussie fans that have been here since the begiinging or even to the friends in here i have met along the way my suggestion is this do whatever you can to get your hands on a copy of this book. It is a must Kegsy,MSTR and Banker or anyone else out there that i missed. I thought that my first post back for a while had to be something of importance something of substance. Well this is it my fellow Pugalist fans. Also i sat in my house this week just gone and watched Pavlik vs Taylor and can i just say wow. I was impressed at this fight and was more than happy i paid $50 for the fight as Taylor didnt take a backward step nor did Pavlik. Ok all say it now its good to be back as i will try my best to find more time to visit this board which by the way i have missed.

Cheers mate, my versions cover is different, bought it around 1990 from memory. Had lots of press clippings from his era, definetely a labour of love by the author. Let you know next week, I'll keep an eye out for your one when I hit Perth.
