All Sherrington so far.

 

Taylor was deducted a point for headbutting. Sherrington looks too quick and too strong so far. Taylor hasnt won a round as far as I've seen.

 

Our own Phil Austin stops the fight in the fifth round. Sherrington wins it !

Taylor was a good sport, taken it well.

Now Mundine, that is how you beat down Shannon Taylor.

Yep it looked that way live as well.

Les very strong and busy got rounds 1 and 2 with Phil taking off a point from Taylor for head clash in round 3.....Les keeps going to make it a 10-8 round in the third.

Taylor does a bit better round 4 almost a draw but I would just give it to les.

Round 5 opens up and its all Les....Phill is saying to Taylor box out or I will stop it....Taylor covers up and Phil jumps in.

Great night on the coast with some good UC fights.

les lands not one punch in the flurry and shannan is defending himself

 

Dont agree mate.....when your in the ring you see things from 2 feet away and Phill was saying to taylor punch out or I will stop it....Taylor failed to do this and it was stopped.

I think it was a good call....Taylor was gassed, throwing nothing and was going to get hurt bad.

And les landed 5 or 6 shots in 10 seconds just before Phil stopped it....Phil did his job and protected the fighter from harm.

 

disagree with phils style of refereeing particularly in this regard.
for saying that to shannan and stopping it based on that.

not one punch landed. shannan defending. no reason to stop the fight.
