    Stephen Espinoza, executive vice president and general manager of Showtime Sports, and Arum don't agree on much, but they do when it comes to how critical Moonves was to making the deal.
    "One of the main reasons why this deal got done, as opposed to deals in the past, was because Leslie Moonves was a part of the process," Espinoza said. "He was deeply committed to making this deal and was someone that all parties in this negotiation really respect. He was really the catalyst for seeing this through and refused to take no for an answer from any side."

    Arum: "He was the guy who really wanted to make it happen. He has enormous experience and talent in this area. This wasn't his first rodeo. It never would have happened without him. Trust me, it would never happen.
    "Les was the difference, in my opinion, on why it happened this time and not other times we tried. But you never look back at the road that you took. You always look at the result -- and we got a fight done didn't we? -- so yeah, it was worth it."


    As you can see Both camps say moonves was the difference he was the guy who forced Floyd to fight manny pacqauio:yep

    its all well pac and arum wanting the fight but without moonves pressuring Floyd to sign the contract this bout wouldn't of took place

    kudus to moonves this guy deserves a lot of credit.......

    Yea but he was forced to fight pac kinda like how if I fall of a car in Kenya and have to go toe2toe2 with a lion I HAVE NO CHOICE I am still scared of lions:hi:

    Moonves played the mediator since there is so much bad blood between the camps. Showtime vs HBO, Arum vs Mayweather/Haymon. Etc. They all despise each other so much they talk with their egos and not their business mind. Moonves set the differences aside and remained persistent when no one else would. Credit to him. HBO, Espinoza, Mayweather, Arum, Haymon, they couldn't be adults.
