Dunno much about Herring but I seen a the two Brocks fights. I remember that one where he was owning the dude early on, but then managed to get into a lock and was forced to tap. Frank Mir was his name. Who do you think wins this? Id like to see Lesnar vs Kimbo :yep Or at least the winner.
I am not sure about this one, hopefully Brock takes him down and finishes with a TKO, and hopefully he took something from the Mir fight. I have nothing against Herring but I would hate to see Lesnar get a bad record.
I'm still undecided for that one..I would say Brock by GnP but Herring is one ******* veteran.. but still, Lesnar by TKO 1
I was really surprised when I heard about this fight and full props to Lesner for taking another hard fight after his first loss. Herring is a very good opponent and will tell us alot about how far Lesner will go in the sport. I hope Lesner comes through well and gets the win but I have always liked Herring so I am pretty torn. The sport needs Lesner to be successful or he may just turn into another circus freak like Kimbo. I am surprised he was not fed a bum to build his confidence back up, the guy must be really serious in his attitude for the sport.
Lesnar needs the win in in my opinion if he dont his ufc career could be in trouble....i bought the ufc.81 ppv just to see him fight,i think he is awesome but still has alot to learn and he wont duck anybody so you have to respect that...heath herring is no push over it should be an intersting fight i cant wait to see it
I really think Lesnar can pull it off. Herring is a good fighter but he hasn't looked good so far in his time in the UFC. I can see Brock taking him down easily and also even stopping him. Herring can catch him with sub but the good news for Lesnar is he isn't as slick as Mir on the ground. The longer the fight goes it will get interesting as we still don't know how good Lesnar's stamina is.
Brocks stamina is something im intrested in seeing tested. His training looks brutal but there are some guys who get in the cage and dont know how to relax or pace themself and gas out. Brocks very inexperienced and may make mistakes late while Herring who kinda know hes a big boy but always goes the distance hes went 20 minutes with Nog before all his UFC fights have went the distance. The O'Brein fight shows someone can take Herring down over and over and win a decision and Brocks a more accomplished wrestler then Jake is so thats possible but hows Brocks striking ? Herrings is solid and hes KD all his UFC opponets and im sure hes much more comfertable then Lesnar standing. Im picking Herring by TKO which isnt a knock on Lesnar I think hes young enough, has a strong work ethic,a great athelte who has that great wrestling pedigree he could have a great career but matching him up vs Mir then Herring is stupid to do so ****ing early.
Which you gotta respect thats a guy coming in looking for a challenge I respect Brock Lesnar. The guy made a serious run at making a NFL squad back in 04 with no college football experience he didnt make the offical team but the man tried and you can never take that away from someone. Him stepping into MMA fighting a former UFC Champ in his 2nd pro fight then a guy in Herring who was soooo close to stopping the current Champ Nog last year and has over 40 fights. However if im Dana id protect my investment alittle better Brock can be a star but when a guy keep loses it could kill his future and Brocks in serious danger over starting off 0-2 in the UFC.
Herring's experience should be the deciding factor. He was a top 10 heavyweight not too long ago. If Brock can score the takedowns and work his ground-n-pound game, then he would have a chance.
