Is herring gonna get mauled on the ground ? Remember Herring has experience but he's nowhere near Mir in the sub department. Mir would've been raped without it.

Do you see this fight lasting more than a round ? and if Brock isn't capable to finish Herring , is he good enough to lay and pray for the duration of the entire fight ?....how about his stamina ? can he last that long ?...

I really don't know enough about Brock to call this fight , all i know is that he's an amazing athlete and that he's got some serious wrestling skills (which is always a huge plus in this sport)...

Herring used to dominate under pride fc rules but he can't pull the same moves he used to do in pride because ufc bans knees on the ground...Herring is a pretty big guy but he can still get overpowered by a guy of brock's size.

    50/50....

    Just because Brock is a big " ? "

    Good questions.
I'm interested in Lesnar's stamina and also wondering if its possible for anyone to stop his takedowns.

Brocks still a very unknown quantity. I do think he looked talented in his first fight but he didn't fight intelligently.

if brock does the samething as he did to Mir then Heath is in some trouble. i think Mir was lucky and Brock will be more aware of such subs this time around. right now i will say Brock by ref stoppage due to GnP in the first. but i wont be surprised if Herring catches him with something.

I'm leaning towards Herring via TKO 2. This is a dangerous fight for Brock. If Brock's training pays off, he should be able to use his superior athleticism and takedowns to keep Herring on his back the whole night. I still think that Brock is so green in MMA that Herring will be able to hang in long enough to exploit the holes in Lesnar's game. This is a fight that I will be going back and forth over right up until the final bell.

Same here. Herring is a much more accomplished striker than Lesnar can ever be. All Lesnar can rely on is some GNP a takedown and his own natural talent. Herring meanwhile is a solid MMA vet. The smart money stays on Herring to put Lesnar`s lights out no matter what we want to believe.

I see Herring knocking him out on their feet.

I am finding it hard to pick a winner between these two and one that I would like to win more than the other. I like both guys and just hope we get a good fight. I think Scurla has got it right.

I see Lesnar getting his takedown and Having his way with Herring, He took mir off his feet with ease, and mir goes aout 250ish. I don't think Herring has good enough subs to catch Lesnar, besides most of Lesnars training is his conditioning and sub defence.

This is a must win for Lesnar and he knows it. Herring is tough as leather but I think Lesnar's explosiveness and power will wear the Texas crazy horse down. Lesnar by strikes in the 2nd round.

The UFC are clutching at straws with this one. The UFC may be the big leagues but the facts remain Lesnar is no diffrent to the WWE/pro wrestling stiffs that used to grace PRIDE cards every once in a while. He doesnt have the MMA credentials nor experience to make waves in this sport. I guess lets just enjoy what he is as i believe his stay in the UFC will be a short one.

IMO If Mir didn't get the sub early on like he did vs Brock the fight might have went to Brock by TKO/KO....

.... Taking nothing away from Mir, he has great techniques
and is totally one dangerous fighter.

Brock enters the ring well trained, high endurance, full of stamina then I think his power should make him victories over Herring.

are you saying that a two time colliegiate nat. champion wrestler, who is one insanely strong s.o.b. and fairly smart can not adjust his game over a little time to become a very good mma star? just because he used to act and cut promos for the w.w.e.? im sure if they offered you the type of money lesnar made to act and cut promos you wouldnt do it because its fake? gimme a break it was just a job but he stayed in shape and didnt lose his amature wrestling skills and probably gained a bit of pure athleticism. lesnar can make it in ufc and be very entertaining while doing it
