He was the 2005 ADCC European Champion. Dude has solid grappling credentials and an infamous Guillotine choke. Brock doesn't stand a chance. He's getting ****ed. PROPER ****ed.
It's one of those fights that is 50/50 but won't be competitive on the night. Either Overeem smashes Brock quickly standing or Brock takes him down and dominates. Whoever wins their supporters will feel validated, but whoever imposes their strength first will win. I don't see it getting out of the first either way.
I think Brock might be a little reserved and try to start slower, which will be his downfall because he will probably let himself get ko by reem. In all his interviews, he says the thing that he would change about the Cain fight would be that he started too fast.
Are you guys kidding me? Lesnar KOs this guy. I do not need to explain, just like when I said Khan beat Judah, Pac would struggle with JMM again and Cotto would beat Margo. Just up this thread after the fight.
I'm gonna be betting on Brock. Overeem has gotten insanely over rated and Brock is going to be pissed off come fight time. If the old pre Carwin Brock is back I'd expect a gnp beatdown. The Reem is believing in his own invincibility methinks.
Lol @ Euro ADCC. Almost meaningless. He was probably the best wrestler there and never had to work off his back. He'll be completely outclassed on the ground by Brock. NCAA Champ>Euro ADCC
Wow what a heap of fail? :think So far Brock's NCAA credentials havent translated into MMA whatsoever despite his fans touting them. Overeem has credentials -as a legit striker- in one of the best tournys in submission grappling and you're willing to dismiss that in favour or Brocks non-existent grappling? Be prepared to eat some serious crow come fight night. Il be sure to bump this post when Overeem wins by TKO well inside of a round.
