I knew that one would go right over your head. Again thanks for adding your valued penny's worth to this intense debate.

 

I've watched them both fight and Overeem's gonna beat the crap out of Lesnar. I've been watching boxing/MMA for over 40 years and I've never seen any fighter turtle when. getting hit the way Lesnar did. That aside, he's simply not as good as people make him out to be, he's too inexperienced and too one dimensional. He can sell tickets a hell of a lot better than he can fight.

 

I have a sneaky feeling Lesnar will win this fight. He'll get dropped in Round 1 but come back from adversity.

My prediction: Lesnar pounds Overeem out in the second round, around two minutes in.

 

I reckon that's a no brainer.

I'm taking Overeem over JDS any day. He's a much better striker.

However, I'm not giving JDS no chance. I accapt that Overeems chin is a bit shaky and JDS punches like a tonne of bricks so an JDS KO is a real possibility.

 

I think JDS is the real deal, also. I would favor him over most of the other heavyweights, but I don't think he'll beat all of them in a row. He'll get starched by someone.

The heavyweight division is like the light heavyweight division before Jon Jones arrived. Lots of talented fighters who can all beat each other on any given day: JDS, Overeem, Cain, Mir, Brock, Carwin, Barnett, and probably Cormier.

 

The HW division is stacked! Especially now after the SF are getting moved to the UFC.

 

If nothing else, Brock has heart. He's not a natural fighter when he gets hurt, but he'll soak up a beating and try to hang in there as best he can. The fight against Carwin could easily have been stopped when he was turtling, but he got through the worst of it and in the second round he was keen to go right at Carwin and try to outmuscle him again. He didn't try to run away from Shane's fists which had hurt him badly in the first round, instead he went right back to trying to impose his own fight plan on Carwin.

I don't rate Overeem much higher. He is an ordinary fighter with an excellent chemist but he will beat Lesnar.

 

I have not seen Overeem fight but I have had the misfortune of watching Brock Lesnar "fight" and he was ****ing awful both times. He's **** scared to take a punch and has a fragile Glass Jaw.
