Maybe, but If he get's finished I think it will like Cain where he get's clocked then get's finished while turtling not like Duffee where he basically collapsed out cold.

 

Duffee wasn't out cold. If you look closely at the clip, the knee to the body is what really ****ed him up. The short left hook dropped him but the knee to the body was the real money shot. Alistair has the most dangerous knees in MMA.

If Lesnar can get him down and gain top or side control, it's over. Yeah, Overeem's a beast, but he has never been in there with a wrestler like Lesnar. People seem to be hating on Brock a bit more harshly due to his former involvement in the WWE. If Lesnar cannot manage to get Overeem down, then he's got serious problems.

I think this fight is 50/50. Just a must see fight either way, since whoever can get their advantages going will win BIG, but it's not clear who it will be.

 

Now ^THIS is very likely. Dos Santos is one dangerous dude. Once Brock vs. the Reem is decided, then it will be fun to hear how people dissect the matchup between JDS and the winner.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing Overeem win as a battle with Dos Santos would be a classic - but i don't see him stopping Brock's double leg shot. Overeem looked horrible in his fight with Werdum who doesn't possess a tenth of the ability of Lesnar in terms of wrestling. Brock takes this in the mid rounds via ground and pound over an exhausted Overeem.

 

i want overeem to win, however i believe lesnar will get him down in the first round and that'll be the end of the fight.
i don't think lesnar will give him a chance to settle into the fight, he'll rush overeem as early as possible.
