Not really he just stalls fights because of his strength and low centre of gravity. He is a very good and strong wreslter/grappler but isn't the best.

I would suggest giving Lesnar a few fights before throwing him in there with someone of Tim's experience and quality. He needs to take on the Eddie Sanchez's of the world first.

The best is determined by results, Monson has a first and a second at ADCC in the HW class, another second at cruiserweight, and just won the FILA worlds in grappling.

I hope sylvia Knocks him the **** out and i dont like sylvia at all. Brock goes for the take down and eats a punch. that is how i see the fight going down.

Enough with the physically a phenom BS, if you think he was born looking like that then you're truly ignorant. He's the definition of a steroid user. Unless of course it's normal to have your neck bigger then your head....:nut

Firstly, I think you called the fight exactly like it will happen.

Secondly, I believe Brock could bet 80% of the top 20 heavys today.

He might very well beat all but a few.

Your knowledge of steroids is based purely your OWN perception. Brock is naturally blessed athlete.Steroids or not he would still be that big.His size isnt just because of steroids its because of genetics.Steroids dont magically make you grow plus he doenst possess the hardness or musculature of heavy steroid users. But he did possess some ridculous traps along with the usual "wrestling" neck from years of weight training.Remember Brocks being doing this since he was a kid.His now nearly 30 years old!

Pride had a **** load of pro-wrestlers as well and it didnt damage their reputation.

Don Frye is/was a pro wrestler, Ken Shamrock is/was a pro wrestler, Josh Barnett is/was a pro-wrestler Sakuraba is/was a pro-wrestler. Does that stop any of those guys from being good fighters? NO!

Despite claims to the contrary, pro-wrestlers know a thing or two about real fighting and are tough mother****ers (well some of them at least)

Great laugh this fight. You can see Lesner has been poor at this stage of his career and Sylvia is so damm boring. I could sleep for ages if i thought this fght was comng up.

Hmm you`ve missed the point. All those guys you have mentioned ARE ACTUAL WRESTLERS from professional backgrounds. Theres tons of dummys in the WWE and TNA who are merely "wrestlers" by name. Guys like Jericho, Angle, Benoit, Bret & Owen Hart, even Bobby Lashley have had very succesful careers in the WWE was because they were ACTUAL wrestlers with legit backgrounds unlike alot of the guys in the WWE.If any of these men had put these talents to MMA you can bet your bottom dollar they`d all be major operators.

Now i wasnt saying it would damage the UFC`s rep but it would certainly be tainted somewhat if a professional star like Lesnar beats there best heavyweight and becomes there champ. Considering PRIDE had such a stacked heavy division (and the UFC has never been blessed with this) and the UFC has essentially merged the 2 Orgs (ok stolen its talent bar Fedor!) it doesnt give that much credibility to an org who boasts to be the best in the world when a former WWE star could now be there heavyweight champ!!:bart

But Lesnar was a two time NCAA champ in college. He is not just a crappy wrestler, he was one of the best.

I KNOW THAT! THATS MY FREAKING POINT! :rofl His assets are his wrestling athleticism and sheer size. BUT the bottom line is professional career started in the WWE.. Anyway it could be an interesting angle if he did win.Vince is a VERY astute businessman more so than Dana thats for sure.Who knows if the price is right they could come up with some kind of deal!

Oh right, I thought you were saying that Lesnar wasn't a good wrestler and was just a star and that those other guys were the good wrestlers.

It might damage UFC reputation from the casual people or MMA haters who think Brock is just a former glorified stuntman but if Dana can market Brock right then it won't be a problem, it won't be a problem if Brock actually starts rippping through people, I think people will come to their own conclusion to how much of a fighter he really is.

And if he wins the title fair and square then fair do's, can't argue against him, if he wins fairly then thats fine.
Then he will have proved that he is the best fighter in MMA.
